New Hamel Secret Dungeon + Revamps

April 15th, 2014

New Hamel Secret Dungeon

The Young Guardian Prince of Hamel, Chung, at long last is reunited with his fallen father. Unfortunately it is not a happy one. Helputt, the once noble leader of the Seiker Clan and protector of Hamel has been corrupted by the demons that imprison him. With knowledge of how to purify Dark El, for unknown reasons Helputt went missing only to be found in the Temple of Trials.

Temple of Trials – New Secret Dungeon

Venture into the Temple of Trials! A fitting name for a very long and challenging dungeon… ;-) In this dungeon you will confront Helputt in his corrupted form and battle 3 Guardian Bosses… Guardian Knight, Guardian Magician and some familiar faces… shadow versions of the ElGang!

Each time you defeat these bosses you will earn special buffs making your run through the Temple of Trials easier. In addition to buffs the Water Priestess will bless you to reduce the damage you receive from enemies.

Secret Dungeon Revamps

We didn’t forget about the others! With 4 Secret Dungeons out already it’s time for an update! Secret Dungeons equipment will probably become one of the most sought after gear in-game. Level requirements for Secret Dungeons can only be entered by those who are level 60 -70. New monsters have been added with higher HP as well.

One Bethbite Conquers all! Bethbites have finally been made into one kind and they can even be earned though quests! Luto’s Secret key will now replace all tickets to secret dungeons as well. Yay for streamlining!

New ItemMall Goodies

It’s Spring time and you can look the part while attending school in the new Spring Star Academy Costume! I seriously want to hit Chung so hard because he looks so darn cute in the Easter Bunny Costume! This is an all-in-one suit. 

Elesis 1st Job Classes Arrive – Pyro and Saber Knight

April 2nd, 2014

To slash or to burn? That is the question… and it really depends on your style of play! Race your Elesis to level 15 and complete the job change quest to become a Pyro or Saber Knight.

Pyro Knight – The Path of Fire
She’s red hot and can’t be stopped!! The Pyro Knight path focus on the power of conjuring fire and channeling it through her sword. She specializes in close to mid-range combat, however, her fireball combos give her a surprising amount range. Plus she strikes a good balance between greater physical and magical attack powers.

Another good note is Pyro Knight’s various AoE skills. It’s incredibly effective when trying to eliminate mobs…and Eternal Fire is just plain awesome…

Saber Knight – The Path of the Claymore
If you’re going for a more elegant class… look no further. Elesis’ Saber Knight is specializes in honing the claymore. As a noble Saber Knight you are more melee oriented and your abilities tilt in favor of high physical attack and defense with a greater amount of HP. You still have fire magic but it’s more refined and controlled.

Much like Elsword’s notorious Armageddon Blade is the Sword of Victory! Giving you tons of reach against enemies and dealing a great amount of damage.

Events for Elesis' First Job Classes
And as far as the event goes for the New Job Classes, everyone who completes their 1st Job Change during the event is encouraged to take a fighting power assessment test with Allegro. Finish the quests and you could earn special item packages for your Elesis! Including some very useful skill rings. ;-)

Check out the events here:

Got nothin much to say except I CAN'T... STOP... PLAYING... THIS ADDICTING GAME!!!! Fast paced side-scrolling hack and slash action complemented with an amazing variety of character classes, each with their own unique specialties that make them stand out, beautifully rendered background environments (since this is a side scroller) almost like an amazing artist just painted the whole thing with awesomeness and HOLY FREAKIN HELL!!!!... THE MUSIC IN MANY PARTS OF THIS GAME IS INCREDIBLE!!!!... I Just have some minor issues with this game... Stamina bar and tedious last class change quests and skill unlock quests... ( DAMN YOU AND YOUR ERRANDS CAMILLA!!!! DX)... Overall I would REALLY recommend this game to anyone that loves either good locales, good music, or some of the best side-scrolling gameplay Ive seen in my life... If you feel tempted to try, me and my Deadly Chaser will see ya in glorious PvP! (unless you face a Dimension Witch or an Infinity sword were against those either you dodge everything or you're freakin screwed... or just put a giant amount of unexpected burst on them like I do XD)

After playing thise for 2rys(not playing on Steam) I still recommend this game, but it has tons of flaws in it. I should start off by saying that story is not its best. As for the gameplay....oh boy. If you're not having, you're straight up not having fun and surely won't while in the dungeons, some of the quest from Feita and beyond will have repeating the same dungeon over, over and over again. It could be a dungeon you absolutely despise. As for the characters, they're not there best either. You'd think such a game as this has balancing, but no KoG doesn't believe in balancing. I'm staring right at Wind Sneaker on this one. In PvP, you're either gonna try your hardest or die at it because once you run into someone who is S or higher will the most OP gear you've seen, your chances of winning are slim unless your absolutely sure you got this down. The content, its good but the fact that KC waters it down gets me and probably other players fustrated. Such as the latest update with the Market Revamp, I desk slammed my face so hard. No ED sinks, at all or a proper Gate of Darkness. The only thing thats not keeping me from quitting are the characters Raven, Elboy and the coming soon to NA, Add. Also, my motivation to get to lvl70 and reach for rank SSS. I'm gonna stop, this review seems long and I've explained quite enough. Yes, I still recommend this game to people who are new to this type of Gameplay, but those who seens games like this? Not a chance.

ive played this game for about two years. i gotta say im adicted. there are alot of bad points somewhat. hackers in the community . also players think to highly of themselves and have no self respect for other peoples reasons. but if you can find a group to play with that is in ur fitting u might have the most fun. right now i currently hold a guild which is my main point for coming online to see them but also the gameplay its challenging when ur playing by yourself even with others sometimes.
i say though 4 people in a party makes u somewhat invincible haha.

There are several reasons I cannot recommend this game.

This game uses region-locks. If you're playing with a international friend group as I do, getting everyone on the same server is impossible. Let me re-phrase that, impossible through the game. The game automatically places you on a server based on country and there is no way to change servers after it does so.

There is a cash shop. That in of itself is not really an issue, I play several games featuring cash shops and I do actually purchase things. However I am under the belief that cash shop items should be limited to cosmetics, luxury items, and leveling items. Nothing in there should be essential to gameplay. Now when I started up the game the first thing I noticed was that the 2nd skill bar, referred to as the b-slot bar, had locks on it. I figured those were unlocked through gameplay, but I was proven wrong when I found an item for that in the cash shop. I dunno about you, but a skill bar seems pretty essential. I could be wrong, but that's definitely the impression I get.

Speaking of the cash shop, ALL of the cosmetic changes are in there. There is no character creation in this game and anyone who doesn't use the cash shop looks like a clone. I would at least like to see a bit of customization even if it was just a couple of hairstyles/colors to pick from to start with. I'm not particularly fond of games that force me into a generic avatar and ask me to fork out cash to change it.

The combat looks fun and can be fun. Reminds me of an old beat-em-up game, but it reminds me a little too much of that. Your mana pool is so small that you barely get to use skills at all. You're forced to use your auto and secondary attacks on spam. Add to that the monsters don't particularly do anything interesting and you've got some pretty boring combat in my opinion. Of course that is just my opinion, this could completely be someone's cup-of-tea.

The in-game background advertisements were also a little off-putting as well as the lack of a good tutorial. Overall this game has little to keep me interested in playing it. But let's be honest, I quit wanting to play as soon as I found out about the region-locks, the rest was just icing on the cake.
