About the Game

Nuclear Dawn is the first game to offer a full FPS and RTS experience, within a single gameplay model, without crippling or diluting either side of the game.
As a soldier, explore war-torn post-apocalyptic landscapes, modelled on modern cities, and take the fight to your enemies as armoured, assault or stealth infantry, using various weapons across ten distinct load-outs to accomplish your objectives. The first person shooter action in Nuclear Dawn is hard, fast and unforgiving, with weapons that rely on skill and tactics more than on twitch reflexes and map memorization.
Then, take Nuclear Dawn above the action, and play as the commander. Organize your fellow players in squads, and assign them to tactical objectives. Plan the resource routes for your army, and production of your structures for forward deployment. Exploit the terrain and resource point locations to block your enemies’ advance, and crush their plans in an iron fist. Research and implement new technologies to give your soldiers the edge on the battlefield, and set up forward bases to lead the assault on your enemies, with a full complement of defensive and offensive structures to choose from, to build your perfect fortress.

I hate this game so much! It's so addictive I don't do anything but playing it the whole days and whole nights!
It's very balanced mix of RTS and FPS. Multiplayer only though. So if your team sucks, it's really depressive. Otherwise it's really a masterpiece!

Awesome game w/ a tight-knit community. 1st game I've ever played where players can switch between FPS & an overhead map gameplay, and it is an amazing concept. Similar to Battlefield 4 w/out all the toolbags that make the game suck. Everything evens out with ND & no one can truly dominate. The game is incredibly well-balanced & everyone has an equal shot, more or less. No pun intended. :)

Amazing game - This highly team based FPS cross RTS has flown under the radar, and never got as much publicity or praise that it deserves, but it has a strong dedicated community which makes for some challenging and seriously fun gameplay. Up untill now there has been a lack of new content, but more new maps and well balanced servers are starting to be shared by the community more and more often. If you havent played it on a full server yet, you dont know what youre missing out on! Score: 9/10

Nuclear Dawn is Real Time Strategy/First Person Shooter...yes a RTS/FPS I know right?!?!?! I never had so much fun dying before. But it lacks in certain elements this offline play isn't that much fun because the AI for the bots is horrible bots get stuck don't listen to commands that well. But the offline play is good to get a better feel of the Commander Position. So the breakdown of the game is one of the players gets designated commander. The commander is the most important position he is in charge of the the RTS side of the game building structures and telling the FPS players where to go. A great commander will make or break the game. The online play is FANTASIC. I would of loved to see this game in its heyday because not a lot of people are playing online but it is still so much fun. You can normally find one server with a few people online. The downside is they have been playing for awhile and its hard to level up your character. But keep at it and you will get there I almost have my EXO (heavy weapons/heavy armor) to level 10 to get an upgrade. There are four classes of soldiers, Assault, EXO, Support, and Stealth. Each class has its unique abilities for the game stealth you can cloak and back-stab for the kill or become a sniper. Assault just like the name says but you also get the thermal vision so you can see the stealth soldiers cloaked. The EXO is great for starting out a character in my opinion because of the heavy armor. Support is paramount to any good game with abilities to fix structures heal players, and resupply them. This game is well worth it $9.99 price tag and is sure to provide you with plenty of hours of fun.

Great game, If you dont mind working with people and shooting others along the way this is a game for you. Small group of core supporters with a love for ND. The game in alot of ways is so simple but thats what makes it so fun. When iyou have to equal teams time flies by and you love every minute of it. In the end how well you work with your team will get you the win rather than just having more bullets.
